David Petruska has a Doctor of Science degree in Civil Engineering-Structures (Washington University, 1991). He has over seventeen years experience in the offshore industry primarily focused on deepwater. He is currently the riser technical authority for BP's deepwater GoM Performance Unit and the chair of the API Stationkeeping Task Groups. Previously he has worked as the mooring lead on the Mad Dog project and as the R&D program manager for risers and moorings.
