enXco signs operations agreement with Suncor Energy


Montreal, January 25, 2012 — enXco Service Canada Inc., an EDF Energies Nouvelles company, signed a multiyear agreement with Suncor Energy and Teck Resources Limited to provide operations and maintenance services for the Wintering Hills Wind Power Project.

Wintering Hills, an 88 MW wind project located near Drumheller, Alberta is comprised of 55 GE 1.6-MW wind turbines. The project will generate renewable energy for about 35,000 homes.

Under the terms of the agreement, enXco Service Canada Inc., will provide complete O&M for the 55 wind turbines and the balance of plant, project oversight, and remote monitoring from its NERC compliant operations control center.

enXco Service Canada Inc., and its American affiliate provides O&M services to more than 5,000 wind turbines throughout North America, representing 5 GW of wind energy.
