Subsea couplings introduced

COS 08 couplings have been brought out as high-pressure connections. They are designed for turbulent

subsea environments with capabilities of connection and disconnection under pressure.
Models are being employed for offshore subsea stab plates and manifolds. They are offered with a threaded option for manual connection/disconnection by divers in turbulent underwater environments and on ROVs.
Coupling 770-bar nonspill design is pressure balanced so an operator needs only to overcome resistance of the springs when connecting and disconnecting.
COS 08 incorporates no seals in the flow path. This allows for high flows and prevention or ingress of impurities into the fluid system. Further data are free.
