Tyco Thermal Controls and Rockbestos-Surprenant Cable Corp. expand strategic alliance

Tyco Thermal Controls, provider of heat-tracing, and fire and performance wiring systems, and Rockbestos Surprenant Cable Corporation (RSCC), provider of engineered wire and cable products, announce an expansion of their strategic alliance. Tyco Thermal Controls will offer industrial fire-rated polymer insulated cables to complement its mineral insulated product line.

Under this exclusive agreement, Tyco Thermal Controls will sell industrial fire-resistant wiring products manufactured by RSCC under the VITALink brand name.

"Adding the industrial line of products from RSCC is a natural extension of our strategic partnership. It allows us to provide our customers the most complete portfolio of fire-rated wiring products from the leaders in mineral and polymer insulated technology today," said Jim Beres, vice president of marketing and business development, Tyco Thermal Controls.

With the addition of VITALink fire-rated cable products, Tyco Thermal Controls now offers customers the widest product and technology choices from the leading brands in the industrial marketplace.
