Rotork Process Controls expands Jordan Controls' capabilities

Rotork Controls, Inc. has announced the formation of a new division that will integrate and expand the product offerings, resources, and customer sales and service capabilities of Jordan Controls, a major valve and damper actuator manufacturer.
Effective immediately, Jordan Controls will become known as Rotork Process Controls (RPC). Its base of operations will remain in Milwaukee where it has design, manufacturing, and administrative facilities.
Derek Olson, newly appointed managing director of RPC, said, "We believe the transition from Jordan Controls to Rotork Process Controls will significantly benefit our existing as well as potential customers. Specifically, we'll be able to combine the extensive technological, sales, and service resources of Rotork with our existing line of products and services, here and around the globe."
He added, "RPC plans to offer a comprehensive array of process control actuators, including a new line of technologically advanced SMART actuators. In addition to the enhanced line of products, we also will grow our sales and service organization to meet and surpass our customer's expectations."
Rotork Process Controls designs and manufactures actuators that are used on control valves, dampers, slide gates, and many other applications in such industries as power generation, oil and gas, chemical processing, pulp and paper, and many others.
