PSS, Submec sign ROV contract

ABERDEEN, UK -- Submec Offshore has awarded Perry Slingsby Systems Inc. (PSSI) a contract to supply Triton XLX 33 and 34 ROV systems.

The two 3,000-m (9,842 ft) rated systems include tooling and survey capabilities while featuring the PSS Integrated Controls Engine (ICE) real-time control system with Gb telemetry and graphical diagnostics.

Submec Offshore, based in Perth, Australia, will employ the TXLX systems on various deepwater construction projects in Australia and Southeast Asia following their delivery in November 2008.
