DataCoil memory sensors are announced for coiled tubing applications. They combine multiple sensors into a compact module that accompanies the bottomhole assembly to monitor pressure, temperature inclination, compression, plus tensile and impact load. The new sensors serve numerous BHA configurations.
DataCoil is engineered to "fill the technology gap between basic coil operations, where downhole digital data analysis is limited, and real-time coil tubing runs, which are costly and logistically difficult to acquire," declares their manufacturer.
