Cameron's Measurement Systems Division acquires Jiskoot Limited
Oil, Gas & Petrochem Equipment
The Measurement Systems division of Cameron has announced the acquisition of Jiskoot Limited, a leader in the design, manufacture and commissioning of sampling, blending and multiphase systems for the global oil and gas industry.
According to divisional Vice President Pat Holley, the deal is clearly a win-win situation for both Cameron and Jiskoot. "Over the past three years Cameron has executed a strategy to strengthen its ability to deliver solutions to the full spectrum of the oil and gas industry including exploration, production, processing, transportation and distribution. By acquiring the Measurement Systems division in 2005 (formerly NuFlo Measurement Systems), it established a high-quality and well-respected foundation in measurement and control. Subsequent acquisitions, such as Caldon, Inc., have allowed the division to expand its technical capability to include fiscal as well as more highly engineered applications. The Jiskoot acquisition is a logical – and highly valuable – progression of this strategy," he explained.
