Schilling Robotics names Otto president, CEO
Schilling Robotics, a global producer of deep-ocean ROVs (remotely operated vehicles) and other specialty equipment used largely by the oil and gas industry to automate and control subsea exploration and production, has named Philip F. Otto as president and CEO.
He has also been appointed to serve on the company's board of directors. Otto received his bachelor's degree from Yale University and his MBA from Harvard University.
Halliburton appoints El-Badrashini Middle East VP
Halliburton has named Gasser El-Badrashini the company's vice president for the Middle East region. El-Badrashini will relocate from Saudi Arabia to Dubai. He replaces Marc Edwards who has been named vice president of the production enhancement product service line within Halliburton's Completion and Production division, based in Houston.
El-Badrashini brings with him 25 years of Halliburton experience. Most recently, he served as Halliburton's country vice president for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. He holds a bachelor's degree from Cairo University.
Cheniere Energy president steps down
"Given the successful completion of construction at Sabine Pass Phase I and Creole Trail Pipeline and the reduction in staff, Stan has decided that this was a good time to leave Cheniere and pursue other interests. His contributions are greatly appreciated and we will miss him," Charif Souki, chairman and CEO said.
Kennedy named VP finance, treasurer at Forest Oil
Forest Oil Corp. has named appointment of Michael N. Kennedy as vice president - finance and treasurer.
Kennedy joined Forest in February 2001. He served as senior financial analyst for Forest until April 2003, at which time he became manager - investor relations. He served in that role until November 2005, at which time he became managing director - capital markets and treasurer.
Prior to joining Forest, he worked for Arthur Andersen as a member of their audit and business advisory practice. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado.
Forest Oil is engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development, and production of natural gas and liquids in North America and selected international locations.
