HOUSTON, June 17 -- Jim Walter Resources Inc., Brookwood, Ala., reported a completion rate of 80 Mcfd of gas and 1,100 b/d of water from Mississippian Floyd shale at a discovery well in Tuscaloosa County, Ala.

The 28-5-2 JWR well is in 28-20s-7w, just east of Brookwood and 19 miles southeast of Wiley Dome field. Floyd shale is perforated at 5,726-5,932 ft and 6,135-7,187 ft measured depth (OGJ, Jan. 21, 2008, p. 49).
