Offshore staff

OSLO -- Aker Solutions has designed and delivered an offshore loading system to the Varandey field in the Barents Sea. The system has been installed on the Fixed Offshore Ice-Resistant Off-Loading Terminal (FOIROT), allowing for the offshore transfer of crude oil onto ice-classed shuttle tankers designed for transporting oil in the sensitive arctic environment.

Both the shuttle tanker Vasily Dinkov and the FOIROT terminal are equipped with the latest Aker Solutions bow and offloading systems, which are designed for arctic conditions. The system also includes additional safety features for the protection of the arctic environment.
