PCM introduces Troika surface transfer pump

Offshore Staff

PARIS -- PCM has introduced the PCM Troika surface transfer pump for multiphase liquids

The progressing cavity pump makes it possible to transfer multiphase liquids straight from a well to a central separation station, eliminating the need for on-site separation. PCM Troika's design overcomes the primary obstacle to multiphase pumping – constantly changing gas-to-oil ratios and pressure levels. This benefit is enhanced when viscosity is also changing along the lifetime of the well. According to PCM, the pump handles virtually any mix of oil, gas, water and sand, including degassing fluids, sour environments.

PCM Troika is suited to a wide range of high-pressure, surface transfer applications in the oil and gas industry, including offshore campaign re-injection, water injection and polymer flooding, recovery of condensates, and as a commingling booster pump.

PCM Troika features a modular design that is easily customizable. This simplifies the selection process and enables customers to obtain a configuration that is specifically tailored to their operational and fluid-handling requirements.
