Construction equipment: Insul-Lift 2-man basket with 180 hyd. rotation

Aerial work platform: Reach-All LLC’s Insul-Lift is adding two more user-friendly features to an already innovative product. At the recent ICUEE show, our audience requested a 2-man basket. We heard you and went even further by introducing a 2-man, 180 degree hydraulic rotating basket. Using quality components from Waco Booms and PCC baskets, we have incorporated the Helac rotary actuator to enhance our product.

The Insul-Lift offers several models, and the most versatile is the 15-300, a self-contained Insul-Lift which is an aerial lift fiberglass boom and basket assembly attachment for use on boom truck cranes. The 15-300 has a fiberglass boom with a work radius of 15' (10' span as insulated) and a 1-man basket. This self-contained aerial lift is a must to view at No gravity leveling here, but state of the art hydraulic-powered auto leveling provides safety and stability. The platform will level regardless of the location of the payload inside the platform and independently of where it is rotationally positioned. The 180 degree full platform rotation with proportional controls enables excellent positioning of platform to work area and prevents workers from bunching up at one corner of the platform and stretching unsafely to those hard-to-reach areas.

When combined into one package, auto hydraulic leveling and 180 degree hydraulic rotation enables one or two workers to safely position the loaded platform alongside and safely remove objects from the work area into the platform. Once loaded, the crane and platform can be repositioned to a new location or to the ground without being tilted out of level.

The 180 platform’s rotation allows the 48" wide, 2-man basket to tuck inline to make it a “stow and go” feature and allows the platform to be attached and positioned to crane tip for safe road travel. This eliminates setup at the jobsite, and fewer steps reduce the risk of an on-site accident.

Summed up, it allows you to do more kinds of work and saves days of expensive travel time by reducing a typical two- or three-day job to one day – “owner’s testimony available.” Attachment design allows access to different types of crane vehicles for choices to suit the job site terrain. You are not held captive to a specific type of vehicle. CraneMate’s aerial lift features and options increase the possibility to update your crane to meet ANSI 92.2 requirements and avoid the stringent regulations imposed by OSHA’s 29 CFR 1926 rules.
