Line maintenance: Compact stump cutters

Line maintenance: To meet the demand for high-horsepower compact stump cutters, Rayco Mfg. has introduced two new models to its popular Super Jr line. The two models, RG40 Super Jr and RG40 Trac Jr, were introduced at the TCI Expo in Hartford, CT Nov 13-15. The new self-propelled stump cutters are powered by 40hp Subaru industrial, gasoline engines.

“Customers have really noticed the additional power offered by the 40hp Subaru,” says Ryan McCollough, design engineer at Rayco Mfg, “and with diesel engine prices soon to go up, we expect a lot of interest in these new gas-powered models.”

Like other Super Jr models, the RG40 and RG40 Trac Jr feature Rayco’s exclusive swing out operator control station, hydraulic backfill blade, and two-speed travel. The RG40 also comes with standard 4 wheel drive.
