Kemp, TX – Utility safety: Larson Electronics has announced its explosion proof LED light, designed for corrosion resistance and available with multiple light color options. The HAL-CRNM-LED7W-C Vapor Proof Colored LED Light features a high output LED lamp and corrosion resistant non-metallic housing combined with a choice of multiple light color output options for applications requiring colored illumination.

The HAL-CRNM-LED7W-C vapor proof colored LED light provides operators with a powerful and durable lighting solution capable of withstanding the damaging effects of salt water, fuels, solvents and other corrosive materials. The housing on this LED light is constructed of LEXAN polycarbonate instead of metal and fitted with a Pyrex lamp globe, producing a rugged yet lightweight and fixture capable of resisting corrosion in environments where this is an issue.

The lamp is a 7 watt colored LED bulb that produces powerful output rivaling 100 watt incandescent bulbs while producing little heat and using a fraction the amount of energy. This LED light is highly resistant to the effects of vibrations and impacts, carries a 50,000 hour operational life, and is available in a variety of colors including amber, red, green, blue and white. Because this lamp is LED, it produces colored light natively rather than requiring coatings or colored lenses, which means brighter output and less loss of color brilliance over time.

The HAL-CRNM-LED7W-C is UL Class 1 Division 2 approved, UL 1570/1571 approved suitable for wet areas, and CSA and USCG approved. Mounting options include ceiling, wall and pendant mounts, and voltage options include 120-240VAC 50/60Hz or 12-24VDC for low voltage applications. This explosion proof LED light is ideal for locations where wet and corrosive environments are encountered and offers the versatility of colored light output for applications requiring colored illumination.

“Manufacturers in all industries are looking at non-metallic, hazardous location LED lighting in a variety of different colors. The HAL-CRNM-LED7W-C is offered in red, blue, amber, green and white as well as AC or DC voltages, making it ideal for wash down areas, salt water and other areas with corrosive chemicals,” said Rob Bresnahan with Larson Electronics’

Larson Electronics produces a wide range of intrinsically safe LED lights, explosion proof LED work lights, portable LED lights, explosion proof flashlights and LED trouble lights.
