MILWAUKEE—Power measurement: From its Advanced Metering Analytics (AMA) innovation to a comprehensive line of water meters and encoders, Badger Meter (NYSE:BMI) will feature a broad range of metering technologies at the American Water Works Association (AWWA) 2013 Annual Conference and Exhibition (ACE13). Badger Meter is the first-ever platinum level sponsor of the event to be held June 9-13, 2013, in Denver, Colo. The company also is the official sponsor of this year’s Meter Madness Contest, which culminates at ACE13.
 
Show visitors are invited to booth #6013 to learn about the company’s AMA solution, which helps utilities to proactively manage their operations by transforming data into meaningful and actionable information. AMA combines secure analytics-based software (ReadCenter® Analytics) with a two-way fixed network (ORION® SE) to collect, organize and analyze meter data. Badger Meter also will showcase many of its other software and hardware solutions for utilities including ReadCenter® Analytics and Analytics Mobile, ReadCenter® Data, ORION® SE, GALAXY®, ORION® ME, and ORION® CE.
 
In addition, Badger Meter will debut its recently released Cold Water Engineered Polymer E-Series® Ultrasonic Meters in 5/8 inch x 3/4 inch and 3/4 inch sizes at the show. A lower cost alternative to their Stainless Steel counterparts, these meters are constructed using a lead-free, engineered polymer housing and engineered polymer and stainless steel metering insert.
 
A member of AWWA since 1929, Badger Meter is committed to helping utilities improve their operations, from the development of innovative flow measurement technologies to installation, testing, training, and field support. The company is joining forces with experts from Malcolm Pirnie and four utilities to present a Technical Session at ACE13. “TUE08 ­ Improving Operations Management through Information Integration” will take place on Tuesday, June 11 from 9:00 a.m. to noon. All individuals with valid ACE13 registration for June 11 may attend.
