Kissimmee, Fla.—CarrierWeb LLC, an Atlanta-based manufacturer of driver-preferred EOBRs, introduced two new fleet management products at the Truckload Carrier Association Annual Convention March 4-7 in Kissimmee, Fla. Designed to drive down the cost of mobile communications, CarrierWeb’s CarrierMate in-cab terminals help fleets and drivers manage sophisticated data, simply. With the ability to monitor factors such as speed, mileage, driver activities, hours of service and position, the new touch-screen electronic on- board recording devices (EOBRs) meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, while delivering unmatched performance and powerful wireless communications.
“Our customers are always looking for ways to better manage the data that drives better business decisions. Our newest EOBRs join a product portfolio that’s been designed with the driver in mind, so fleets can get the information they need in a form that’s understandable to them, easily,” said Norman Thomas, Vice President of Commercial Operations. “With the data our EOBRs provide, fleets can act upon the most current information to improve their bottom line.”
The maker of EOBRs that lead the industry in data capture, CarrierWeb started in 2001 and has operations in Brazil, China, Europe and the U.S. It is dedicated to creating EOBRs that meet all current DOT specifications, as well as the needs of drivers.
