Planetary hoists provide reliable power lift

Tulsa, Okla.—Ramsey Winch, a manufacturer of industrial and consumer winches and hoists for utility, construction, heavy hauling and towing, and recovery markets has introduced the RCH 12K and RCH 14 K planetary hoists.
“The RCH 12K and RCH 14 K planetary, heavy-duty hoists offers a compact design with reliable power lift after lift. These two hoists are a natural evolution of our hoist line of products,” said Phil Halt, Marketing Product Manager for Ramsey Winch.

Major features of the RCH 12K and RCH 14K include:  
•    12,000 lbs and 14,000 lbs.  First layer;
•    Highly efficient planetary gear set with anti friction bearings;
•    Spring applied hydraulic released brake;
•    Choice of single or two speed motors;
•    Fabricated steel side plates for design flexibility;
•    Easily accessible oil fill and drain ports for faster maintenance;
•    Two wedge pockets for over and under wound applications;
•    Meet ANSI B30.5 standards; and
•    Available with optional “ECM” Electronic Crane Management System.  Please see separate press release on this system.
The RCH 12K and RCH 14K complement the SCH line of Ramsey Winch hoist products. With the introduction of the new models the Ramsey Winch hoist line now covers capacities from 2,900 lbs. to 14,000 lbs.
