Aerial truck lift hose increases safety

Ravenna, Ohio—In response to the harsh demands of Aerial Truck Lift hose, Parker Parflex introduces Fast-Stor DURA-flex twin line hose. Fast-Stor DURA-flex is a non-conductive, twin line retractable coiled hose that is 28 percent lighter than competing rubber hose products, reducing operator fatigue and extending the life of the hose.  It also offers increased flexibility over competitive rubber hoses, promoting easy handling, even in extremely cold temperatures, and bend restrictors allow the hose to bend freely while reducing kink potential.  In addition, the tight coil design of the retractable DURA-flex hose reduces the chance for entanglement with the operator’s feet or in tree limbs, increasing operator safety.  

The Fast-Stor DURA-flex hose jacket is UV and ozone resistant, reducing degradation and eliminating cracking and moisture ingression. In addition, this retractable twin line hose exceeds SAE J517 for less than 50 micro-amps leakage at 75,000 volts per foot and maintains non-conductivity, keeping the operator safe from electric shock. Also, the dual construction design eliminates the need for tie wraps, again, increasing handling safety.
