Gasoline prices around Arizona are slightly lower at the pumps this week.

PHOENIX (AP) — Gasoline prices around Arizona are slightly lower at the pumps this week.

Officials with Triple-A Arizona said Thursday that the average statewide price for unleaded regular gasoline is $2.11 per gallon, down by less than a penny.

This week's national average is $2.20 per gallon, lower by almost a cent from last week.

Triple-A analysts say pump prices around Arizona should remain steady because supplies are healthy, demand is soft and the state has started to use the less expensive winter blend.

Tucson currently has Arizona's lowest average gasoline price at $1.92 a gallon and Flagstaff the highest at $2.36.

Texas has the lowest average gas price among states in the continental U.S. at $1.96 a gallon and California the highest at $2.75.
