PHOENIX (AP) — After more than a month of lower prices, gasoline prices around Arizona are higher at the pumps this week.
This week's national average is $2.19 per gallon, up by more than 6 cents from last week.
Despite recent price increases, Triple-A analysts expect Arizona drivers will pay the lowest Labor Day holiday gas prices in more than a decade next weekend.
Tucson currently has Arizona's lowest average gasoline price at $1.87 a gallon and Flagstaff the highest at $2.37.
South Carolina has the lowest average gas price among states in the continental U.S. at $1.92 a gallon and California the highest at $2.67.
