After more than a month of lower prices, gasoline prices around Arizona are higher at the pumps this week.

PHOENIX (AP) — After more than a month of lower prices, gasoline prices around Arizona are higher at the pumps this week.

Officials with Triple-A Arizona said Thursday that the average statewide price for unleaded regular gasoline is $2.07 per gallon, up by 4 cents from last week.

This week's national average is $2.19 per gallon, up by more than 6 cents from last week.

Despite recent price increases, Triple-A analysts expect Arizona drivers will pay the lowest Labor Day holiday gas prices in more than a decade next weekend.

Tucson currently has Arizona's lowest average gasoline price at $1.87 a gallon and Flagstaff the highest at $2.37.

South Carolina has the lowest average gas price among states in the continental U.S. at $1.92 a gallon and California the highest at $2.67.
