OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — The average price for a gallon of gasoline in Oklahoma continues to decline.

AAA Oklahoma reported Monday that the average price for a gallon of self-serve regular is now $1.92, down two cents from last week and tied with Arkansas for the fifth lowest average price in the nation.

Prices in selected cities in the state range from $1.80 in Muskogee to $2.00 per gallon in Altus. Drivers in Tulsa were paying an average of $1.84 per gallon while the cost in Oklahoma City averaged $1.90.

The least expensive average price was $1.84 per gallon in South Carolina.

AAA spokesman Chuck Mai said the declining prices are due to the strengthening dollar and abundant supplies of oil.
