PetroSkills, a worldwide petroleum training company, has announced the “Transitioning Professionals Initiative,” an opportunity for oil & gas professionals affected by recent layoffs to receive discounted training as they prepare for their next job opportunity.

PetroSkills, a worldwide petroleum training company, has announced the “Transitioning Professionals Initiative,” an opportunity for oil and gas professionals affected by recent layoffs to receive discounted training as they prepare for their next job opportunity.
 
The initiative, which began May 24, provides a substantial discount on tuition for any public training course offered by PetroSkills in 2016. Any professional who has been laid off, or is currently between jobs, is eligible for the discounted tuition, provided registration is completed before July 31.
 
“We know that our industry has a lot of highly-qualified people out there looking for work right now, and we want to enable them to get the knowledge and skills they need while looking for the next opportunity,” said Clay Kindred, Director of Marketing at PetroSkills.
