Diamond WTG Engineering & Services, Inc., a group company of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Inc., has signed a five year agreement with MidAmerican Energy Company to provide state-of-the-art service support for the 50 units of one megawatt (MWT-1000A) wind turbines at MidAmerican's Century and Intrepid Wind Projects, in Hamilton and Buena Vista Counties, Iowa.
Harm Toren, President and CEO of Diamond, stated, "We are honored to have been selected by MidAmerican Energy Company as their preferred Independent Service Provider (ISP) to ensure this energy complex operates at maximum efficiency.
