Ultra Deep Group signs contract to build DP2 DSCV Andy Warhol

This marks another important milestone in the history of UDS, in line with the company's strategic plan to spearhead the development and operation of efficient, cost-effective diving and support vessels in the oil and gas industry.

Ultra Deep Group (UDS) is proud to announce, it has signed a contract to build a DP2 FiFi2 DSCV ‘ANDY WARHOL’ with Wu Chang Shipbuilding Industry Group Co. Ltd. a global leading shipyard. This marks another important milestone in the history of UDS, in line with the company's strategic plan to spearhead the development and operation of efficient, cost-effective diving and support vessels in the oil and gas industry.

The DP2 DSCV ANDY WARHOL is a state of the art DP2 Multipurpose Diving Support Construction Vessel designed according to the class notation “Clean Design” and SPS Code and high focus is given to low fuel consumption, which reduces emission to the environment. FO tank arrangement according to “Clean Design” and MARPOL - oil fuel tank protection, operating on a FiFi Class 2 system while adhering to Tier III NOx Emission Standards. The vessel is equipped with Flash Tekk 18 man single bell Saturation system operating at 300m, a 150t AHC crane with a single fall of 3000m, fitted with a WROV and an OBS ROV and it can accommodate up to 120 personnel.

UDS’s vessel is prepared for world‐wide operations in the deep and ultra-deep oil and gas sector projects. The contract, marks UDS's strategy to provide vessels with high tech solutions to the offshore industry worldwide. Leveraging on its years of experience in the subsea industry, UDS has combined the high tech, practicality and high safety standards, to design and build this DP2 18-man single bell FiFi 2 diving support construction vessel.
