C3 Energy CEO Thomas M. Siebel will deliver a keynote address on the future of analytics during the 2015 Energy Thought Summit (ETS15) on Thursday, March 26 at 10 am. He will address the convergence of big data, cloud solutions, and the Internet of Things and the implications for modern energy systems.
“As the grid becomes increasingly sensored, it transforms into a fully connected sensor network—a cyber-physical network producing unprecedented amounts of data. These data are integrated, processed, and analyzed using state-of-the-art information technology, including data analytics, machine learning, and cloud computing, in a manner to optimize the power delivery value chain,” said Siebel. “From generation to consumption, analytics are foundational to advancing the safety, reliability, and efficiency of the modern energy system.”
“Conquering big data is the key to unlocking the full potential of the smart grid, energy management, and distributed energy resources," said Jason S. Rodriguez, CEO of Zpryme, the host of ETS15. "We are honored to have Mr. Siebel share C3 Energy’s insight and perspective on how advanced analytics can usher in a new era of innovation in the energy industry at ETS15.”
ETS15 brings together the world’s thought leaders to debate the state and future of energy. The event will be held March 24 - 26 at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center in Austin, Texas. For more information, visit www.ets15.com.
