OREGON, Ohio (AP) — Investigators are trying to figure out what caused a New Year's Day fire at a Toledo-area factory.

Multiple media reports say the fire broke out at the Toledo Refining Company in suburban Oregon Thursday morning about 10 a.m. and was under control by noon.

Black smoke could be seen rising from the factory but no injuries were reported.

The factory's firefighters and Oregon firefighters responded.

The refinery produces materials such as gasoline and other petrol chemicals.
