Yingli to supply solar modules for Tekno Ray projects in Turkey

Yingli Green Energy's Turkish subsidiary to supply photovoltaic modules to Tekno Ray Solar for renewable energy projects in Turkey.

Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited (NYSE: YGE) subsidiary, Yingli Turkey, has signed an agreement to provide multicrystalline photovoltaic (PV) modules to Tekno Ray Solar for solar renewable energy projects in Turkey.

Under the agreement Yingli Turkey will deliver 30 MW of PV modules in installments beginning in 2014 through the beginning of 2015. The modules are part of Yingli Turkey's YGE Series and will be installed in numerous large scale solar projects in south Turkey.

"We are delighted to reach a new milestone in the market development in Turkey with Tekno Ray Solar, with whom we have partnered on many projects, including Turkey's first medium voltage ground-mounted project in MW size with grid connection and the first self-consumption project in the Akdeniz Region," said CEO of Yingli Green Energy Liansheng Miao.

Tekno Ray Solar is a joint venture between Tekno Group and Enerray for the purpose of developing Turkey's solar energy market. The company offers customers tailored solar power systems designed to be efficient and remotely monitored and managed by Tekno Ray Solar.
