The Seine Rive Gauche Nord (SRN) wind farm, to be located in Aube, Champagne-Ardenne in northern France, will be comprised of 30 Nordex N100 wind turbines that have a power generation of 2.5 MW each. Local preparatory work will commence in Spring 2014 with installation of the turbines slated for 2015.
Upon completion, H2air will be responsible for technical and commercial operations management at the wind farm.
"This project marks a major success for me for many reasons," Lars Bondo Krogsgaard, Nordex management board member, said in a statement. "For one thing, it is one of the largest internally developed projects."
"The success of the emblematic SRN wind farm is a testament to our dedication and our sincere cooperation with both local and corporate partners," Roy Mahfouz, president of H2air, said in a statement. "The result of which is a unique project that contributes to both French and European ambitions in the development of renewable energy."
