SPIRIT Global Energy Solutions introduces its Intelligent Asset Manager for Artificial Lift applications. Today, SPIRIT Global Energy Solutions introduced its much-anticipated Intelligent Asset Manager for Artificial Lift applications. GENESIS, as the patented new device is known, represents a technological leap forward in capability for an operator to remotely access and manage downhole and surface artificial lift assets in real time. SPIRIT likens its GENESIS to a digital equivalent of a production supervisor managing every stroke of producing wells, around the clock.

“We are pleased to announce that the SPIRIT GENESIS has completed one of the most rigorous field testing programs in the history of the oil and gas industry and has passed with flying colors,” said Matt Raglin, president of SPIRIT Energy and principle architect of the GENESIS technology. Dr. Shon Scott, product manager for the GENESIS said, “The significance of our GENESIS is that we are bringing the first device to the oil and gas industry that integrates artificial intelligence with advanced downhole pump analytics plus surface asset management.” He added, “GENESIS gives an operator total remote access to completely customize equipment operations to their unique artificial lift environments.” Raglin added, “We integrated state-of-the-art well control algorithms and “AI”, to alert operators with sufficient time to take corrective action, limit operational downtime and possibly workover delay and expense.” He added, “GENESIS is revolutionary in our industry for dynamically matching an artificial lift systems’ operation to the dynamic production from a subsurface formation.” SPIRIT expects GENESIS to significantly extend the productive life cycle of a typical artificial lift system.

SPIRIT Energy is becoming well known for its innovative tools and technology in the energy industry’s artificial lift sector. Raglin commented, “SPIRIT Energy represents a new generation of innovation for the oil and gas industry.” He added, “It is our mission to use comprehensive downhole experience to create innovative solutions and then supply bright, aggressive, experienced field service talent with the tools and technology to help our clients suffer fewer operational headaches and make more money from artificial lift.”
