Black Elk reports another successful flowtest

Black Elk Energy Offshore Operations, LLC (“Black Elk Energy”), an independent oil and gas company headquartered in Houston, reported today the successful flowtest at Ship Shoal Block 198 Well #I-6. This is the first of a four well capital campaign at Ship Shoal Block 198. The well was tested and is flowing at an average rate of 480 barrels of oil per day. The flowing tubing pressure was 1,980psi on a 15” choke.
