Varg gas export project audited by PSA Norway

On 3 May 2013, the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) carried out an audit of Talisman Energy Norge AS’ (TENAS’) management of the Varg gas export project.

The objective of the audit activity was to verify TENAS’ management of the Varg gas export project, including modifications on Petrojarl Varg.

We emphasised factors such as the distribution of responsibility between TENAS and Teekay Petrojarl, follow-up of suppliers, the project’s governing documentation and project management system, assessment of maintenance needs and operations preparations.

The audit also included verification of documents.

Result
No nonconformities were identified.

One improvement item was identified in connection with governing documents.
