Total's OTC presence bolstered by early 2013 success

Discoveries, expansions, and new agreements are leading the way for Total in 2013, as the company celebrates numerous successes at the start of OTC 2013. On the heels of a new discovery offshore Ivory Coast, and the launch of the Moho Nord development in the Republic of Congo, Total has established a large presence at Houston’s Offshore Technology Conference. In partnership with PennEnergy, Total will be highlighting open positions through a job wall at the PennEnergy Jobs section of the PennWell booth #2941, with information on global opportunities for job seekers and recruiters.

Several large events have shaped 2013 for Total. The company recently restarted production at the Elgin-Franklin platform in the UK North Sea, and expanded its acreage offshore Cyprus. The company acquired an additional 6% interest in the Ichthys LNG project in Australia, and announces the sale of interest in Tempa Rossa in Italy. Most recently, the company put an end to a 2006 litigation with Techdrill, freeing the companies to resume normal business practices.

Total’s presence at Offshore Technology Conference 2013 will be two-fold. The company will have its own booth at the show, #5869, where company representatives will meet with industry experts from all over the world. There, professionals will be able to discuss the latest news of the industry, while marveling at the company’s latest innovations. Total’s presence will also extend to PennEnergy Jobs, whom Total has teamed with to host a massive job wall. This wall will feature more than 2 dozen jobs currently needing to be filled at the company. The positions range from Senior Drilling Engineers to Maintnance Department Head, with locations around the world. The job wall will be featured at the PennEnergy Jobs booth for the duration of the OTC conference.

Total S.A. is one of the six largest oil companies in the world, and also a major player in Alternative Energy. In oil & gas, Total is involved in Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream sectors, as well as chemicals and specialty products. Total will be based at booth #5869 at OTC 2013, and the company’s job wall will be featured at the PennEnergy Jobs section of the PennWell booth, #2941.

As OTC 2013 begins, Total is looking for new talent to further its numerous 2013 accomplishments.
