PSA grants offshore drilling consent to Wintershall Norge

Wintershall Norge AS has received consent to carry out exploration drilling with the Transocean Arctic mobile drilling facility.

The consent relates to drilling of well 6406/6-3, which is part of production license 511.

Transocean Arctic’s planned position when drilling well6406/6-3 is:
- 64° 34' 24.44'' North
- 6° 58' 27.63'' East

Water depth at the site is 243 meters.

The drilling operation is scheduled to start in April 2013, with an expected duration of 127 days, depending on whether a discovery is made.

Transocean Arctic is operated by Transocean Offshore (North Sea) LtdNUF. The facility received an Acknowledgement of Compliance (AoC) in July 2004.
