Dry well northwest of the Trym field

Dong E&P Norge AS, operator of production licence 289, is about to complete drilling of wildcat well 3/7-9 S. The well is dry.

The well was drilled about 5 kilometres northwest of the Trym field in the southern part of the North Sea.

The well encountered reservoir rocks with reservoir quality as expected. Extensive data acquisition and sampling have been carried out.
