Oil & gas land management spotlighted in upcoming webcast

PwC is offering its Energy Executive Webcast Series to provide practical guidance on recent energy issues and developments.

Oil and gas company land departments in the US are facing significant challenges. Transaction volumes continue to increase and a record number of leases are changing hands at an ever-increasing rate. Gaining strategic insight into the businesses, through the development of land data such as acreage, ownership, and revenue, is a necessity. The data needs to be accurate, and it must be easily accessed. This has created a strong need for better communication within the land department. When achieved, it creates faster and more targeted information flow among stakeholders, and a reduction of lead time from the point a lease is acquired to when it is properly recorded and consumed.

PwC is offering its Energy Executive Webcast Series to provide practical guidance on recent energy issues and developments. The webcasts are designed for energy executives. They include information on new and emerging issues impacting the energy industry, and offer insight into the recent trends and opportunities within the sector.

PwC’s next webcast, “Land Management: From acquisition to management – accelerating the integration of land data” will be a presentation and discussion on the impact of conventional and unconventional development. It will cover how data can be utilized to better manage information, with a specific focus on energy industry.
