Designed and constructed by CNPC’s packaged technology with independent intellectual property rights, the project mainly consists of a synthetic ammonia unit with daily productivity of 1,500 tons, a urea plant with daily productivity of 2,640 tons, and auxiliary facilities. Expected to be put into operation in 2015, the project will bring 800,000 tons of urea to the market, which will not only meet the demand in Southern Xinjiang, but also be exported to countries in Central Asia.
