Paradigm (www.pdgm.com) will present its versatile, scalable, multi-platform exploration and production solutions at the 2012 European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE) Annual Conference and Exhibition in Copenhagen, Denmark, held June 4-7. Conference attendees are invited to join Paradigm at booth #1550 for live technical demonstrations throughout each day, including presentation on the latest release of Geolog® 7, the company's newest version of formation evaluation software solution, enabling a modern ergonomic and easy user experience. DONG Energy will be on hand to present its success with Geolog in the application of advanced stratigraphic delineation methods.
EAGE attendees can attend live software demonstrations hosted at the Paradigm booth on the half hour beginning on June 5 at 9:00 AM CEST covering the following topics:
•Optimized Well Placement
•Making Seismic Data More Relevant in Shale Resource Plays with Azimuth Imaging
•Seismic Interpretation on Windows
•Reservoir Delineation on Carbonate Platform
•Interpretation of an Eagle Ford Shale Play using Seismic Attributes
•Velocity Model Building in Sub-Salt Areas
•From Seismic to Simulation: No Compromise on 3D Reservoir Models
•Multi-disciplinary Reservoir Characterization Workflow
"Geolog 7 implements an inviting user experience, introducing a user-friendly interface and improved ergonomics. And we're especially pleased that DONG Energy will have the opportunity at EAGE to share its success applying the software for its formation engineering," said Duane Dopkin, Executive Vice President of Technology for Paradigm. "EAGE is the perfect venue to showcase the value of these technical innovations to support our customers' oil and gas assets, through dynamic, in-person demonstrations and topical presentations."
The Geolog 7.0 demonstration will feature the new product release, highlighting improvements in the user interface, application reorganization, new application developments in the areas of full waveform sonic processing, core evaluation (e.g. saturation height analysis) and workflow enablement. Geolog 7 combines customer-driven innovation with a strong focus on ergonomics and ease of use. In a separate case study presentation DONG Energy will discuss how it has successfully used Geolog.
Advanced registration is required for extended Lunch & Learn presentations featuring Multi-User Collaboration for an Interpretation Workflow. This presentation will show how users performing a typical interpretation workflow can access each other's data, without the need to re-assign or duplicate interpretation data, thereby enhancing integration between disciplines, enabling multi-scenario decision-making and reducing workflow completion time. Advanced reservations are required and can be made online.
Paradigm will also be active members at the EAGE technical program, with technical paper presentations in the Seismic Interpolation & Regularization session and AGORA Workshop on Understanding Uncertainty and Managing Risk.
Paradigm subject matter experts will also be available for one-on-one presentations for a more in-depth look at specific workflows or software applications. For more information on Paradigm products and services, please visit www.pdgm.com, or e-mail email@example.com.
