At the international Wind trade fair in Hannover MAHLE Behr Industry showcased advanced cooling systems and components. A further Group company and co-exhibitor at the stand was MAHLE Filtration, with a selection of high-performance filter elements from its extensive product portfolio.

At the Hanover event MAHLE Behr Industry, the technology leader in thermal management, presented systems and applications that serve to dissipate the heat which accumulates in the diverse wind turbine circuits.

To achieve the maximum permissible coolant temperatures, frequency converters and generators are cooled using oil coolers and radiators, while oil coolers are also used to remove heat generated in the transmission.

MAHLE Behr Industry and MAHLE Filtration also supply, as a product of their successful affiliation, combined filter-cooling modules for onshore and offshore wind power plants. The introduction of the jointly developed cooling systems met with a highly positive market response and has already led to the acquisition of a number of interesting series-production orders.

Further innovative products from MAHLE Behr Industry for cooling gensets, wind and solar power plants include radiators, direct and indirect charge air coolers, hydraulic and oil coolers, fuel coolers, Visco fan drives for cooling engines, fans, fan hoods, surge tanks, EGR coolers and cooling module frames.
