GWPC, IOGCC launch FracFocus national public hydraulic fracturing registry

FracFocus, the national hydraulic fracturing chemical registry website will be live starting April 11, 2011. 

This is a joint project between the Ground Water Protection Council and the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission

On this site you can search for information about the chemicals used in the hydraulic fracturing of oil and gas wells. You will also find educational materials designed to help you put this information in perspective. 

The site will also guide users to individual state regulations on hydraulic fracturing and provide contact information for each state's oil and natural gas agency.
