Willbros Group, Inc. (NYSE: WG) was awarded contracts by Plains Marketing, L.P. to build three new petroleum storage tanks at their Patoka Terminal in Vernon, Illinois. The project consists of construction of two internal floating roof tanks and an additional external floating roof tank. The total working capacity of the three tanks will be nearly one million barrels of crude oil.

The group recently completed construction of new tanks in the same area for Plains. "We believe the performance of our tank services personnel on previous work in this area contributed to our selection for this important project for Plains," said Rich Cellon, President Willbros Downstream.

Willbros Group, Inc. is an independent contractor serving the oil, gas, power, refining and petrochemical industries, providing engineering, construction, turnaround, maintenance, life cycle extension services and facilities development and operations services to industry and government entities worldwide.
