Source: Ampal

Ampal-American Israel Corporation (Nasdaq: AMPL) was advised by East Mediterranean Gas Co. (EMG), in which Ampal has a 12.5% interest, that EMG informed its Israeli customers that the resumption of gas supply by EMG to Israel is expected by Monday, March 14.

Delayed multiple times, the resumption of gas supply is following the successful completion of the repair work and testing of GASCO’s pipeline that was damaged in an explosion and fire on February 5, 2011.
