ConocoPhillips awards Cameron $200MM surface equipment order for Ekofisk offshore Norway

Cameron (NYSE:CAM) has received a contract valued at approximately $200 million from ConocoPhillips(NYSE:COP) to provide equipment and services on two new platforms in the Greater Ekofisk Area Development offshore Norway. 

The multi-year agreement calls for Cameron to furnish surface wellheads and Christmas trees for multiple wells during the contract term, with an additional provision for aftermarket support and services over the life of the field. 

The contract is subject to Government approval of the Plan for Development and Operations (PDO) for Ekofisk South and Eldfisk II.
