Titan Oil & Gas, Inc. (OTC.BB:TNGS) has acquired certain petroleum and natural gas rights to an additional 1,897 acres in the CFB-Suffield region of southern Alberta.

The CFB-Suffield region hosts a number of highly productive oil pools and is estimated to contain upwards of 1 billion barrels of oil in place. The region has excellent infrastructure and several majors operate in the area.

"We are very excited to have acquired significant acreage in one of the most sought-after areas of southern Alberta," said Jarnail Dhaddey, President of Titan. "We will begin reviewing available data immediately and expect to have an updated exploration plan in the coming weeks."

Titan's southern Alberta land package now totals 6,957 acres with projects in the Atlee-Buffalo, Bow Island, Eyremore, Retlaw, CFB-Suffield and Taber regions. In addition, Titan also owns a 2.51255% working interest in an oil well located in Alberta and has acquired interests in two petroleum and natural gas leases in the province of Saskatchewan. The total area covered by the Saskatchewan leases is 326 acres.

"We have grown our land base by more than 50% in the past month and will continue to aggressively seek new opportunities that increase shareholder value," said Jarnail Dhaddey, President of Titan. "We anticipate the next few months to be very busy for us."
