SCR systems designed by Riley Power offer a unique Delta Wing® static mixing technology that provides uniform flue gas and ammonia mixing, high NOx removal efficiencies over a wide operating load range, and rapid start-up and commissioning. SCR systems furnished by Riley Power utilize technology under an exclusive license from Balcke Durr GmbH, and from other proprietary sources. Riley Power SCRs have been supplied in over 37,000 MW of power plant generation in the USA in operation, under construction, or in design.

“Babcock Power Inc., through its subsidiary companies, offers a wide range of products and services for the power generation, waste-to-energy, solar and biomass markets. Riley Power’s SCRs and Low NOx burners operate reliably, and permit customers to generate environmentally friendly energy,” stated Jim Dougherty, President and CEO of Babcock Power Environmental Inc. “It has been an honor working with E.ON US through the years, and participating in their successful Environmental Air program.”

The EW Brown Generating Station Unit 3 is a 450 gross megawatt coal-fired boiler located in Burgin, Kentucky. The station is unique in showcasing three generations of electricity-producing processes, including hydro, fossil fuel, and combustion turbine. Kentucky Utilities Company (KU) is a regulated electric utility, based in Lexington, Kentucky, serving customers in 77 Kentucky counties and five counties in Virginia (under the name Old Dominion Power - ODP).
