Bjørge has received letter of award from Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd for delivery of main centrifugal pumps to the new ENI-operated Goliat FPSO on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. The order value is above US $10 million.

The pumps will be installed in the hull area of the Goliat FPSO and consist of three different pump applications, i.e. Sea Water Lift Pumps, Cargo Pumps and Ballast Pumps.

In February 2010, Eni awarded Hyundai Heavy Industries $1.16 billion contract for the engineering, procurement, construction, onshore commissioning and transportation for the Goliat FPSO.

Discovered in 2006, the Goliat oil and gas field is located on Production License 229 and 229B in the Barents Sea off of the northern coast of Norway. Situated in waters measuring 343 meters deep, Goliat is the first Norwegian oil field to be developed in the Barents Sea north of the Arctic Circle.
