OGX contracts subsea installations

Offshore staff

NEWCASTLE-UPON-TYNE, UK -- Brazil’s OGX Petroleo e Gas has awarded Wellstream International an offshore installation contract.

This follows an earlier award to Wellstream in June for the supply of flexible risers and flowlines, mid-water arches, umbilicals and associated equipment and services.

A project team based in Brazil will execute the new contract, supported by Wellstream’s Brazilian and Houston-based operations.

Phil Mason, SVP Installation, said: “This award is a clear example of the success of Wellstream’s strategy to offer the industry full integrated SURF capability.”
