OGX drills two new prospects in the Santos Basin offshore Brazil

After completing drilling operations at two new oil fields in the Campos Basin, OGX has moved the drilling rigs and spud two new exploration wells in the Santos Basin. 

The rig Ocean Quest, which drilled the OGX-6 well on the Etna prospect, as well as the rig Ocean Star, which drilled the OGX-8 well on the Fuji prospect, have been moved to the shallow waters of the Santos Basin offshore Brazil. 

Here, the drilling rigs are engaged in the drilling two new oil prospects. The Ocean Quest is currently drilling the Natal prospect (OGX-11D) in the BM-S-59 block, and the Ocean Star is currently drilling the Niteroi prospect (OGX-12) in the BM-S-57 block.
