Vestas China adds 50 MW of wind energy to Heilongjiang province

Vestas has received an order for a total of 50 MW of wind energy from a major Chinese customer. The order is for the second phase of the same project in the Heilongjiang province. At the customer’s request, further details about the project’s ownership cannot be disclosed.

The contract includes supply and commissioning of the wind turbines, a VestasOnline Business SCADA system and a two-year service and maintenance agreement. Delivery of the turbines is planned to take place during the third quarter of 2010.
