Three people have been injured in a fire that occurred today at the ExxonMobil (XOM) refinery in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, reported Reuters.

Three workers were sent to the hospital Wednesday morning due to a fire that broke out at the refinery. Two remain there for care.

Reuters revealed that operations at the refinery were not affected by the incident, which was extinguished by the volunteer fire department at the refinery.

“It was a flash fire from flammable vapors or light ends,” Sergeant Markus Smith of the Louisiana State Police told Reuters.
